Indoor karting is a great way to experience racing. With most indoor kart tracks being open for 10-12+ hours a day, finding time to race is very convenient. This makes it accessible to a lot of people and introduces them to the world of motorsports.

I love indoor karting. I've done 10's of thousands of laps on indoor kart tracks including a few laps in different countries. My favorite part is that I'm pretty good at it. I've won many different events, and held lap records at multiple tracks. My biggest achievement was winning the 2021 K1 Speed Canadian Championship, and representing Canada at the 2023 K1 World Championship, where I finished a commendable 7th (with a slow kart but that's for another time...).
Since the championship, I've been coaching many different people at indoor kart tracks across Ontario.
I love coaching almost as much as I love racing. I have a good sense of where each driver can improve and I do my best to explain it in a clear and concise way. The results show themselves when we see laptimes losing tenths, and confidence going up.
It's not absolutely necessary, but it makes things a lot easier when your coach is faster than you...
Driving cars fast is the best thing in the world. Doing it on a race track or a closed circuit is the safest thing to do.
Controlling a 3000lb hunk of metal at high speed on straights and corners is a thing that requires skill and knowledge.

Skill and knowledge are essential to have as a racing Instructor. I've gained both of these through experience. I've trained the Canadian Armed Forces on advanced driving techniques. (With Race.Lab in 2022, and 2024) I've sat in the Instructor seat of Subaru's at Race.Lab's advanced driving school, and in Ferraris and Porsches and McLarens at GTA Exotics Track Experience days. I am an experienced racing instructor.
I am very easy going and I can adapt my teaching style to each driver's needs. Get me into the passenger seat of your car on a racetrack and see the magic!
